About us.
Polygent Labs is an artificial intelligence research and product company based in Houston, Texas, United States. We study and build infrastructure for multi-agent AI systems. polygentlabs.com (the "Site") is our public-facing publication of research, products, and information about our work.
In these Terms, "we," "us," and "our" refer to Polygent Labs, Inc. "You" and "your" refer to the person accessing or using the Site.
Acceptance & changes.
By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.
We may revise these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. For material changes, we'll try to give reasonable notice on the Site itself before the change takes effect. Your continued use of the Site after the effective date of any revision means you accept the updated Terms.
Use of the site.
You may use the Site for lawful purposes only. In particular, you agree not to:
- Use the Site to violate any law, regulation, or third-party right.
- Attempt to access non-public areas of the Site, probe its security, or interfere with its normal operation.
- Use automated means (bots, crawlers, scrapers) to access the Site, except for well-behaved indexing by search engines or with our prior consent.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive source code from any non-open-source software made available through the Site.
- Misrepresent your identity in any communication with us.
- Use the Site to transmit harmful code, harassment, or unlawful content.
Intellectual property.
The content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, images, illustrations, code, and overall design — is owned by Polygent Labs or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You may view and share Site content for personal, non-commercial purposes with attribution. Any other use — including reproduction, redistribution, modification, or commercial use — requires our prior written consent.
Trademarks
"Polygent," "Polygent Labs," the pentagon logomark, and other Polygent marks are trademarks of Polygent Labs, Inc. You may not use them without our prior written permission, and you may not use any marks that are confusingly similar to ours.
Research and open-source releases
When we publish research papers, blog posts, datasets, or open-source code, those works are governed by the specific license terms attached to them. Look there first; the terms attached to a release control over these general Terms for that release.
Submissions & feedback.
If you send us feedback, suggestions, ideas, or other materials — whether through email, a job application, or any other channel — you grant Polygent Labs a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable license to use, modify, and distribute those materials in connection with our business, without any obligation to credit or compensate you.
We're glad to receive unsolicited input, but we work on a lot of similar topics, so we can't promise that any idea you share is novel to us or that we'll act on it. We won't be obligated to keep your submissions confidential unless we explicitly agree to in writing.
Third-party links.
The Site may link to third-party sites or services. We don't control those and aren't responsible for their content, privacy practices, or availability. Visiting a third-party site is at your own risk and subject to that site's own terms and policies.
Disclaimers.
The Site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability.
Research is iterative. Information on the Site may be preliminary, incomplete, or revised over time. Nothing on the Site constitutes professional, legal, financial, or medical advice. Don't rely on it as such.
Limitation of liability.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Polygent Labs, Inc. — and our officers, directors, employees, contractors, and affiliates — will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or revenues, arising out of or related to your use of the Site, even if we've been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to the Site or these Terms is limited to one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100).
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Polygent Labs and its representatives from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the Site.
Governing law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising from or related to these Terms or the Site will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Harris County, Texas, and you consent to that jurisdiction and venue.
If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force. Our failure to enforce any right under these Terms is not a waiver of that right.
